The Petaluma Downtown Association was beyond honored to discover our annual Butter & Egg Days Parade was voted The Best Annual Festival in Press Democrat’s Best of Sonoma County Reader’s Choice poll. We were invited to attend the awards ceremony yesterday at the Hyatt Vineyard Creek in Santa Rosa. Our Executive Director Marie, our Event & Communications Coordinator Jenny, and our Board Members Jeff, JoAnn and Michelle all attended the event. Funny enough a few of the Parades’ sponsors won in various best of categories too. Redwood Credit union won best credit union, Friedman’s won best home improvement store and Exchange Bank won best Bank. Congrats to them on being voted the best of Sonoma County!

The Petaluma Downtown Association is thrilled to announce a new fall event, Petaluma’s Harvest Days in Downtown Petaluma takes place Thursday through Saturday, October 11-13. Local downtown merchants will come together to celebrate friendship and community with a host of activities – including Petaluma Gap wine grape-tasting, a cupcake competition, Scarecrows on the Town, pumpkin decorating at the Mail Depot and live music in Putnam Plaza. Petaluma’s Harvest Days is a celebration of the bountiful fall season in Petaluma!
Residents and visitors alike will delight in “Scarecrows on the Town,” a whimsical display of handcrafted scarecrows located at various locations throughout downtown.
