Galactic to Headline 7th Annual Petaluma Music Festival
This marks the seventh year for what has become one of the most highly regarded events on the west coast summer music festival circuit. The Petaluma Music Festival takes place on Saturday, August 2nd, 2014, at the Sonoma-Marin Fairgrounds & Event Center in Petaluma.
With past festival performances by national acts like Trombone Shorty, The Devil Makes Three, Jackie Greene, Xavier Rudd, and ALO, festival goers are always treated to a family-friendly event with a unique variety of indie-band music for people of all ages.

Petaluma is steeped in its traditions and the GREAT Downtown Sidewalk sale this Friday July 25th – Sunday, July 27th, is a great example. The Downtown Sidewalk sale has been a yearly summer tradition for over 20 years. Today, not all of the merchant’s sales take place on the sidewalk, but dozens of merchants will have incredible deals that are sure to have you happily skipping down the sidewalks.
Participating locations will be all over Downtown Petaluma, including the Theater District, Petaluma Blvd, B Street, Fourth Street, Kentucky Street, Western Avenue and Washington Street. The number 13 doesn’t have to be unlucky at all. The Petaluma Art & Garden Festival enters adolescence at a time when the event continues to grow — not only in attendance — but also in every other way imaginable.
Presented by the Petaluma Downtown Association, it’s a free party that is not only located outdoors, but focuses on the outdoors.
