Last week I detailed some of the participants of the 9th Annual Taste of Petaluma (coming up August 23rd!) that I was privileged to be wined and dined at during the Mini-Taste of Petaluma. As I explained in my last blog, these Mini-Tastes are a small scale preview of the deliciousness that is Taste of Petaluma. Well, it appears the Goddess of Taste (Ms. Laura Sunday) favors me, because I got invited to the next round of Mini-Taste, and this time around I just went ahead and squealed with delight.

When I found out I’d been invited to Cinnabar Theater’s “Mini-Taste”, I nearly squealed with delight. I’ve seen the blogs and articles that surface after one of these coveted Mini-Tastes, which of course is the purpose behind treating local writers and bloggers to this culinary sprint of deliciousness. Taste of Petaluma might be my favorite event in town, simply because it’s all about the amazing food that is produced in our little hamlet. In its 9th year, The Taste of Petaluma is a full day (the day of August 23rd to be exact) of unbridled enjoyment of culinary creation, local wine and craft brews, that benefits Cinnabar’s programs. Tickets are $40 and include 10 tastes, and with over 54 participants this year, it will be a difficult endeavor to decide which 10 you’ll try.
