Hwy 101 Petaluma Blvd S. CLOSURE!

Petaluma, Sonoma County – On Sunday, September 27, Caltrans will close Petaluma Boulevard South under U.S. Route 101 for 24 hours in order to complete demolition of the former southbound bridge. This work is taking place in one 24-hour period to avoid several nights of road closures. Residents may notice increased noise from equipment and mandatory backup alarms.

 

Petaluma Boulevard South under U.S. Route 101 will close Sunday morning, September 27, at 5 a.m. and reopen on Monday morning, September 28, at 5 a.m.

Demolition will be complete by midnight on September 27. The remaining time will be spent in cleanup prior to reopening Petaluma Boulevard South.

Antique Lovers Converge in Downtown

Downtown Petaluma’s historic charm, including its stern Victorian iron-fronts and grand neo-classical buildings, make it the perfect backdrop for the Petaluma Fall Antique Faire.  Spanning Fourth & Kentucky Streets between B and Washington Streets, this day long celebration of all things antique will take place on Sunday, September 27th, 2015, from 8am to 4pm.
